Who runs MusicToMP3
MusicToMP3 is built and operated by a small independent team, reachable at [email protected]. It is not run by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Spotify AB or any music label. The same people who maintain the download pipeline handle rights-holder reports and abuse complaints — there is no outsourced moderation queue, so responses come from the operators themselves.
The service exists because a public Spotify link is the clearest way to identify a recording, while people with the right to a copy still need a portable, tagged audio file. The design decisions — public links only, temporary files, fair-use rate limits — all follow from serving that narrow purpose and nothing broader.
What the service does
Paste a public Spotify track, playlist, album, or artist URL. MusicToMP3 reads the public link metadata, shows the available tracks, and lets you choose what to process. Spotify login credentials are not requested.
The finished audio is packaged as MP3 with available title, artist, album, and artwork metadata. Collections can be saved as a ZIP archive.
How audio matching works
A Spotify page identifies the recording; it is not itself a downloadable MP3 source. MusicToMP3 uses the public metadata to look for an available audio match through supported providers, then converts that match to the selected output format.
The result uses the standard MP3 format. Availability can vary when an exact match is unavailable.
Practical limits
Only public links can be read. A large public playlist may show up to 100 tracks in the fast preview, and artist pages expose a limited selection rather than a full discography. Provider availability can also vary by region and time.

Responsible use
Use MusicToMP3 only for material you own, have permission to use, or may lawfully download in your location. Do not redistribute files or use them in commercial work without the necessary rights.
